Walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith… – Colossians 2:6-7

This blog was conceived while reading a work on the death of Western “Christian” culture and the Machine that drives the uprooting of culture and values. As I read the opening chapters, a rather depressing view of the situation, I was reminded of the parable of the Sower, in which Jesus showed His followers that good soil, prepared and cultivated, will allow the roots of His kingdom to run deep and hold fast in adversity.

Rhythms of spirituality help to cultivate that good soil so that our lives can withstand the winds of change around us.

Here are a few of the things you’ll find on this blog:

  • Home Rhythms: The daily routines that help to keep us grounded.
  • Soul Musings: My gathered thoughts on spirituality and the Way of Jesus.
  • Health & Nourishment: Short essays on herbalism and recipes from our farmhouse kitchen.
  • Soil & Roots: Stewarding the earth and the creatures that live on it.
